The New Camera

My parents got me a camera for Christmas.

I know think I am a professional photographer.

I have these little 'photo shoots' where I beg my mother for thirty minutes to drive around in Karen, my Camry, waiting for 'spurts of intuition' or 'seeking in inner muse'.

Of course, she lets me go - she loves photography. I am very much my mother's daughter.

I thought I could share some of my favorites with you. Not all of them, because I'm trigger happy and you'd be looking at hundreds of pictures. Just some.

THE CANOE RACE

Ever since I was eight years old, I have gone to Upper Peninsula Bible Camp in Michigan. I went as a camper for 7 years and last year I was a Junior Counselor. It's a great place and I have so many hilarious memories there.

One such memory, it the annual 4th of July canoe race. This memory comes from my first year as a Junior Varsity camper and let's just say, it's probably the most funnies/insane/crazy thing I have ever witnessed.
