I extremely enjoy this quote because it does sum up my week. Homecoming week. Spirit week.

 Monday was Nerd Day. The spirit was a solid 9 that day. My friends and I are all nerds. Huge nerds. But, alas, I did borrow the suspenders.

 Country day. My school has bring your tractor to school day. We didn't have to reach very far for this Spirit Day.

Today was class t-shirt day. Note how we stole the batman logo.

On a side note, I got elected into Homecoming court? I was really happy when I found out. I've never been popular or anything like that, so I felt really honored. I'm the nerdy girl who has the humor of a 10 year old. I really tried to have fun this week, and I did enjoy it.
The float stressed me out a lot. We've got third by DEFAULT two years in a row, so we're shooting for a solid 3rd this year.

Keeping the tradition alive.

I had the most fun this week playing volleyball. We used to play powerderpuff football - each class had like 12 girls with 3 boy coaches, but we tackled too hard instead of playing two hand touch.
So we got to play volleyball.

Let me throw this out there - my class never wins anything.

But this year, we finally WON SOMETHING.

We beat the Sophomores in Volleyball. The haters out there told us not to get our hopes up - the Seniors were gonna crush us.

We then got the opportunity to play the faculty. Sadly, our four volleyball players had a real game. I played my Freshman and Sophomore years, but the three other girls did not. We lost 16 - 25.

We let them win.
Yeah, let's stick to that story.
