Well, that's out of the way. So, hey, guys! I hope you're doing well out there in reader-land. I am also doing well, regardless of the chaos above. My life is just busy. Life tends to get like that sometimes. Silly life.

While I have not been blogging a lot, I have been writing. But, not fun writing. Meh writing. Many, many essays. I'm in Comp 110 through ICC and it sucks the joy out of my soul is very essay heavy. On the bright side, all our essays are about Columbine. Not that Columbine is a bright subject (it is a very, very sad one) but all the essays are literally on the same thing, just with a slightly different prompt. I am also learning about bullying and similar issues, which have always been interesting to me in the sense that I want to prevent the issues, if that makes sense.

Similarly, I have been for my English class at school, which I love. We are working on our senior memory book right now, which is usually fun to write for. Some of the chapters are kind of difficult to write, though. Chapter 4 was about your favorite game as a child. It was rough. (You know when you write a paper and you end up just stating the same thing in in many creative ways throughout the paper - yeah, that was that chapter.)

BUT there is some fun writing coming up! NaNoWrMo is three days away. What is that, you ask? Why, it's National Novel Writing Month! November is national novel writing month, and I am pumped. I am going to try to work on one of my three novels that I am currently invested in. But, I'm going to have to reread them all because I have no clue where I left off. Riley Girl consumed my life for the past three years; everything else was put on hold. But I'm excited to work on my other novels. I miss them.

On the bright side, all this writing I've been doing has shown me that I do not want to be an English major in college! Probably. I would much rather major in Creative Writing, but that is not going to happen. I'll probably end up majoring in Biology in case I want to go to Med School.

Or I was thinking of becoming a fire fighter after I get my degree. It would give me a lot of time to write, which is what I really want to do with my life. I also want to help people, which I think would go well with fire fighting. I also like fire, which might not go with fire fighting, but that's okay.

I also really want to be a therapist, but getting a doctorate would just take so long. I'm so conflicted.
Growing up is hard. I am excited for the rest of my life, though. I really am.

Well, my little update is coming to a close. It wasn't particularity funny, but I think that's okay. I usually try to entertain you guys; I don't want to be blabbering on about my life all the time. I also want to thank you all for reading my blog. It means a lot to me. I say this quite often, but it's very true. I love when people comment or come talk to me about a blog post. It makes my day.

While I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of my life, I know I will always be a blogger and writer, and that's thanks to you nice folks.

Have a great day.

  2. Hi Gabriella! I just barely noticed your comment on my blog and feel so sorry about that! Blogger doesn't seem to be sending me notifications. :( Anyway, in case you don't get notifications either, I'll repeat my reply to your comment: I'd love it if you'd add my blog to yours. Thanks so much! I need to look into adding other people's blogs on mine, too. Now I'm off to check out your book! Congratulations! Writing a novel is a very big accomplishment, especially considering all the work that goes into it!
